MHAC recognises a significant risk to the Yorkshire and wider UK population from the United States surveillance activity at Menwith Hill because it makes a significant military target.
A meeting to review the campaign and clarify how it can go forward effectively. All interested in developing an effective campaign to press for accountability of US military and surveillance activity at Menwith Hill are welcome.
There are many US military bases in South Korea. There are many people in South Korea who are very unhappy about these bases. Francis Daehoon Lee is touring the UK on behalf of the People's Solidarity for Participatory Democracy, a South Korean NGO.

There is a witness and protest outside the main entrance to the American base at Menwith Hill every Tuesday evening (6 – 7.30 pm). This demonstration has been going almost every week since July 2000. Menwith Hill is on the A59 Harrogate to Skipton road) and nine miles from Harrogate North Yorkshire.
