Hi - Really pleased to have come across your site, via a Justice not Vengeance link - Good Luck and congratulations on a smart site. May I take this opportunity to make a suggestion? Knowing how difficult it is to keep up with relevant media reports and upload them to a website, perhaps a bookmark facility, similar to del.icio.us would be a faster way for admin (and those registered at the site?) to post them on the site.

I could not agree more with the last posting. Most people are unaware of the extent to which the US Visiting Forces and their Agencies operate - unaccountable and out of control of the UK government.

The fact that US bases were allowed here after the war was because a few people behind closed doors (we have the documents) gave the green light - it was never debated in Parliament.

Some interesting documents will be put on the website soon.

Well done Ray: that was a very powerful piece of video clip and should focus minds on what the real issues are. It is not Democrat or Republican, but live or die! To me McCain appears to be in early dementia and I would not vote for him for my parish councillor! If we do not stop this madness now we in the UK will be one of the first casualties of this war machine, thinly disguised as missile defence! The UK Government MUST have debate in Parliament NOW and take back control of the so called RAF bases in the UK.

New Zealand’s role in all of this is the NZ military presence in Afghanistan. But New Zealand’s most significant contribution to that, and other American wars, including the one in Iraq, is the Waihopai spybase. Waihopai is controlled by the US, with New Zealand (Parliament, the Prime Minister and the people) having little or no idea what goes on there (let alone any control). Waihopai does not operate in the national interests of New Zealand or our neighbours. Basically it is a foreign spybase on NZ soil and directly involves us in America’s wars. Waihopai must be closed.
